Why Rickshaw?

It was this picture, which I took during a family trip to Dhaka, Bangladesh that inspired the name.  It struck me that whatever the condition of the surrounding streets and buildings, the whole environment was lifted by the fabulous vibrant colours of the rickshaws and given that my shop is all about colour, it seemed like the perfect choice.

I'm a great believer in the power of colour to lift your spirits - so no matter how grey or drizzly the world outside, Rickshaw Bazaar will remain a rich, warm, kaleidoscope of colour. I really hope that you will find something in this store to make you smile - then you can pass it on to your friends and family and make them smile too.
